Dozens of Palestinian school students choked on tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a march against the “deal of the century” in al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil on Tuesday afternoon.
Local sources said that the IOF heavily fired tear gas grenades at the Palestinian students who were demonstrating against the “deal of the century”.
Dozens of them fainted and suffered breathing difficulties as a result of inhaling tear gas.
The Palestinians believe that the “deal of the century” is a US-Israeli conspiracy aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.
