The Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Sunday that Israel poses a threat to regional peace and security and commits acts of terrorism and corruption.
According to the Iranian news agency IRNA the Iranian FM Abdollahian reviewed bilateral regional and international issues via a phone call with the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah Bin Zayed.
Abdollahian underlined that Iran aims at promoting peace and security in the region and its neighboring countries which cannot be ensured by foreign interventions.
“Bilateral consultations and meetings are preliminary to maintaining a strong relationship between Iran and UAE” Abdollahian said inviting his UAE counterpart to visit Tehran.
For his part Bin Zayed welcomed bilateral consultations between Tehran and Abu Dhabi adding that joint interests promote bilateral ties.
