Thousands of Palestinian protestors marched on Friday across the Gaza Strip in solidarity with Palestinian worshippers who were attacked by Israeli soldiers inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
Protesters assembled in central Gaza raised the Palestinian flags and chanted national slogans protesting against the Israeli Friday dawn raids on Al-Aqsa.
“The Israeli forces must be held accountable for attacking unarmed worshippers in Al-Aqsa Mosque. There will be no place for invaders and occupiers in holy Jerusalem” the coordinator of the National and Islamic Forces Committee Khaled al-Batesh said in his speech.
“What hurts Palestinian worshippers in Al-Aqsa Mosque hurts all Muslims. The premeditated and orchestrated attack on Al-Aqsa brings about our anguish and anger” al-Batesh added concluding the central march.
Preachers of Gaza mosques on Friday prayer confirmed the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque as the holy site that all Muslims must guard.
