A Palestinian young man was injured on Monday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired at him near the Apartheid Wall in Tora village north of the West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources reported that the young man was injured by a live bullet in the leg and was transferred to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin.
In a separate incident Israeli soldiers set up a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance of Fahma village southwest of Jenin stopping the Palestinians’ vehicles and asking for ID cards. IOF soldiers intensified their presence in and around Arraba Marka Al-Zawiya and Kifirt villages of Jenin.
Furthermore local sources reported that Jewish settlers stormed the Al-Tira neighborhood through the village of Ain Qiniya under tight IOF guard with an intent to perform religious rituals.
Tension has been running high in occupied West Bank and Jerusalem after IOF launched repeated raids on Al-Aqsa worshippers.
