Armed men believed to be from the Palestinian resistance opened fire on Friday evening at an Israeli military watchtower near Jenin city in the West Bank.
According to Israeli media outlets no one was injured in the attack that happened near Ya’bad town in Jenin.
Consequently the Israeli army launched a manhunt for the attackers who managed to escape the scene.
This resistance operation is considered the third of its kind in one week in Jenin province. Two similar gunfire attacks happened last week on Israeli soldiers in Jenin including one at Jalama military checkpoint north of the province.
