Groups of Jewish settlers on Tuesday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under tight police protection.

Local sources said that two groups of settlers escorted by police forces toured the Mosque’s courtyards in the morning.

Meanwhile the Israeli police restricted the entry of Muslims to the Mosque and prevented several women from going in at the pretext there was still a ban on their presence in the Islamic holy site.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– A horde of Jewish settlers on Sunday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards as part of daily provocative break-ins staged under Israeli police escort at the Islamic holy shrine.

Local sources said that some settlers tried during their presence at the Mosque to perform rituals but Palestinian worshipers intervened and chanted religious slogans loudly to fend them off.

Meanwhile the Israeli police continued to impose entry bans on several Palestinian women who rallied near its gates reciting verses from the holy Qur’an.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in the city some settlers tried to perform rituals but refrained from doing so after several Muslim worshipers intervened and loudly shouted religious slogans at them.

Meanwhile a number of Palestinian women rallied outside the Mosque’s gates after Israeli police forces prevented them from entering it.
