The Nakba: Israel’s Ecological Apartheid

Uprooting Palestinian trees and razing the lands Israel systematically targets the environment in Palestine.

Since 1967 Israel has uprooted 2.5 million trees in Palestine

Since 1967 Israel has uprooted more than 800.000 olive trees.

For Palestinians olive trees are not mere crops. They are symbols of:
-Peace
-Attachment to their lands
-Resilience

80000 Palestinian families rely on olive harvest and olive oil as their main source of income.

By uprooting burning down and chemically poising trees Israel destroys the Palestinian environment.

Since Israel’s bloody establishment Palestine along with her people and trees has been fighting for survival.

Israel depopulated about 500 Palestinian villages and towns.

The Nakba never ended. Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians continues.
