As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 223 on Thursday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians, especially in Rafah.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid escalating incursions and attacks in Rafah and Jabalia.
According to media sources, dozens of civilians were martyred following Israeli attacks on two homes in al-Daraj neighborhood in al-Sahaba street in Gaza City
Casualties were also reported following another attack on a house belonging to the family of Jahjouh in ash-Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
Four other martyrs were reported after the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of al-Halkawi behind the Rabi’ah School in the central area of Rafah.
A martyr was also evacuated to the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after he was shot by Israeli forces in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, the civil defense service in Gaza said that its crews found and retrieved dozens of bodies in different areas of az-Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods in Gaza City after Israeli forces withdrew from them.
On Wednesday evening, a woman was killed and other civilians were injured when the Israeli army bombed an apartment in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Other casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
