The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) revealed that prisoner Wafaa Jarrar, 49, from Jenin is still held in the intensive care unit under anesthesia in the Israeli Afula Hospital after she had undergone a surgery in one of her feet on Wednesday.
The PPS explained in a press statement on Thursday that a CT scan showed that detainee Jarrar had several injuries, one of which in the spine.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested Jarrar from Jenin after storming her house during the military operation carried out by the IOF in Jenin and its camp over the past two days.
The PPS held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the fate of detainee Jarrar, the wife of prisoner Abdul Jabbar Jarrar, 54, from Jenin, who has been administratively detained since February 2024.
