The Hamas Movement on Monday mourned Palestinian thinker Abdul-Sattar Qasem a noted political science professor who passed away from Covid-19 complications.
“Professor Abdul-Sattar Qasem was always a voice for justice in Palestine defending our Palestinian people’s rights on their land” Hamas said in a press release.
“As we bid farewell to Dr. Abdul-Sattar we are remembering his courageous and principled positions in rejection of the Oslo accords and their fallout and how he raised the banner of building a national bloc capable of leading the struggle for liberation from the occupation” the Movement added.
It offered its condolences to his family his students friends and the Palestinian people praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon him and make paradise his eternal dwelling place.
“The school of professor Abdul-Sattar Qasem will remain present in the consciousness of our people and his students” Hamas underscored.
