The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning attacked Palestinian farmers and fishermen in the besieged Gaza Strip and kidnaped a Gazan citizen.

According to local sources the IOF fired live ammunition and smoke grenades towards swaths of cultivated land in the east of Khan Yunis south of Gaza forcing famers to leave the area.

In the west of Gaza Israeli gunboats also fired live ammunition and water cannons at fishermen and their boats during their presence within three nautical miles off the coast of Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza City.

The intensity of the shooting forced the fishermen to return ashore.

Luckily no one was hurt in the IOF attacks in the east and west of Gaza.

In a separate incident the IOF kidnaped a Gazan citizen whose identity was unknown as he approached the border fence in the east of Khan Yunis.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning heavily opened fire at Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.

Local sources said that the IOF heavily opened machinegun fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing off the shore of northern Gaza forcing them to leave the area.

Meanwhile the IOF fired live ammunition and tear gas bombs at Palestinian farmers working in their lands east of Khuza’a town in the southern Gaza Strip.

No injuries were reported in both attacks local sources confirmed.

IOF attacks on Palestinian farmers and fishermen are witnessed on almost a daily basis in the besieged Gaza Strip.
