The Military Information Department of al-Qassam Brigades (QB) the armed wing of Hamas has announced that its website’s servers have been exposed to a series of fierce cyberattacks aimed at shutting it down since the dawn of Thursday July 7.
“Our engineers are still fighting these attacks that have not stopped until this moment…they are working on fixing the damage that resulted from these attacks that were carried out by the enemy in cahoots with major international email and domain companies” al-Qassam Brigades stated on its website on Saturday.
Its statement said that al-Qassam engineers managed to ward off most of the cyberattacks asserting that the only website address (URL) is “alqassam.ps” which contains the true contact information of al-Qassam Brigades.
The Brigades warned that alqassam.net and its content are a fake and fraudulent site aimed at scamming visitors and called for not opening or dealing with it.
