Hamas Movement affirmed that the “heroic” shooting attack in Tulkarem on Tuesday evening was a natural response to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and holy sites.
It said in a statement that Karim Nashaat Salama’s attack on an Israeli military roadblock in Annab in eastern Tulkarem was a natural response to the ongoing Israeli Nazi aggression on Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
“Our heroic resistance fighters and people will continue to defend our people, land and holy sites against the Israeli Nazi criminal enemy,” it added.
“The blood of the (Palestinian) children and innocent civilians will remain a curse haunting the Israeli enemy and its terrorist settlers, who will never find security in our occupied land,” Hamas said.
The Movement urged the youth in the West Bank and Jerusalem to escalate all forms of resistance until final liberation and establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The ministry of health had said that 21-year-old Karim was shot dead by Israeli occupation soldiers at the Annab military roadblock. The Israeli occupation army claimed that Karim had fired at the occupation soldiers and was shot dead on the scene.
